Support your Child’s Literacy Journey with MSL
Do you want to support your child’s reading, spelling and writing at home but have no idea where
to start?
Do you know or suspect that your child has dyslexia and wish to understand his/her condition better?
In this course, we will not only cover the theory on the building blocks of literacy, we will also teach you multisensory skills for reading, spelling, and writing. We delve into the understanding of dyslexia so that you will be armed with the knowledge to be able to spot any signs and symptoms in your child and seek help early or conduct early intervention to support your child’s literacy development.
Many parents feel nervous about helping their child in terms of building literacy skills simply due to a lack of knowledge and understanding of how they can get involved. Research has shown that effective parent involvement can have a profound effect in helping their child become lifelong readers and writers. At MSL, we understand your struggles as a parent and have designed the Multisensory Approach to Literacy Workshop to make it less daunting for parents like yourself to learn how you can effectively develop your child’s literacy at home.
Based on the Orton-Gillingham Approach, the Multisensory Approach to Literacy Workshop is specially crafted to bring you through a logical sequence that leaves no gaps in the learning process. Best of all, the Orton-Gillingham Approach to teaching literacy skills benefits all types of learners—not just those who struggle.
