MSL Impact through Reading Strategies for Dyslexics
Building automaticity in matching graphemes or phonograms to their sounds is an important skill involved in learning how to read words fluently. Module 1 provides the practice and guidance you will need to be confident in planning and executing an effective OG lesson for reading. The focus of this module is to learn and master higher level phonograms. Appropriate correction techniques is taught for the teacher to correct reading errors made by students.
Course Objective:- Learn to teach reading in a structured and multisensory way beyond the preschool level
- Be introduced to and have an understanding of a higher level of phonograms through the scope and sequence
- Learn to plan an OG lesson for visual processing/decoding
